Trish Drew, CPE, LEED AP

Founder

Trish Drew founded DCW in 2012 in response to a growing need for construction-focused cost planning and independent project advisory services. With more than 30 years of construction industry experience and over 20 years in construction management, she has built a reputation for helping owners, architects, engineers, and contractors navigate complex projects with confidence. The company was founded on the belief that informed decision-making, collaboration, and proactive cost management are essential to project success.

Throughout her career, Trish has worked closely with project teams to align budgets, schedules, and design goals from the earliest planning stages through project completion. Known for providing practical, real-time guidance and market-based insights, she helps clients make informed decisions while preserving design intent and maximizing value. Her expertise includes project budgeting, cost estimating, contract negotiation, market analysis, and construction management across a diverse range of public and private sector projects.

Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson is leading DCW into its next phase of growth.

As Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for setting the firm's strategic direction, expanding client relationships, developing high-performing teams, and driving innovation across every aspect of the business. With more than two decades of executive leadership experience spanning construction, manufacturing, procurement, and global operations, Brian brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial vision and operational expertise. His leadership is grounded in collaboration, integrity, and a commitment to helping clients make confident decisions through trusted cost management and advisory services.

Preeti Pustake

Preeti's extensive background in construction management and architectural design gives her tremendous insight on her projects.

Her comprehensive experience includes construction design, estimating, and on-site execution for a wide range of projects, including airports, multi-family residences, hotels, offices, convention centers, arenas, laboratories, and educational facilities. Preeti is also passionate about industry advocacy and has spent her decades-long career mentoring college graduates, helping them navigate and succeed in their professions.

Charu Ghadge

Senior Cost Manager

Charu's well rounded expertise in civil engineering and construction management, paired with strong financial acumen, gives her valuable insight into every project.

Her comprehensive experience spans pre-construction, construction project management, contract administration, and cost control across a wide range of commercial projects that includes educational facilities, multi-family apartments, offices, retail bldgs. and light rail infrastructure. With a Master of Science in Construction Management from the UW and a specialized thesis in Life Cycle Cost Analysis, she brings both academic rigor and hands-on expertise to LCC analysis, change order auditing, and value engineering. Over more than a decade in the industry, she has developed a proven ability to mitigate financial risk while guiding projects through every phase, from pre-construction analysis and procurement through close-out.

Matt Thompson

Senior Cost Manager

Matt's extensive background in cost estimating and capital project planning makes him a trusted advisor on complex construction programs.

With more than 30 years of experience supporting public-sector, infrastructure, industrial, and Department of Energy projects, he brings deep expertise in conceptual, parametric, and detailed estimating, independent cost estimates, business case analysis, value engineering, and large-scale project budgeting developed through decades of work at the Hanford Nuclear Site and other major capital programs.

Cost Estimator

Hilori is a triple threat with experience in cost estimating, construction management, and architectural design.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture and worked as a Project Architect for 5 years before joining DCW, bringing with her in depth knowledge of interiors, finishes, structures, and sustainable design. She now works closely with our senior estimators and supports with data gathering, calculations, and report development. She is skilled in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite.

Dane Schatz
